Looking
older than history, Varanasi presents India in its purest form. It is
situated on the western banks of the Ganges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. A
dawn boat ride along the divine Ganges can bring you some of the most
surreal scenes devotees bathing, meditating, offering prayers, and
performing rituals to greet the Sun God. One of the oldest living cities in
the world, Varanasi offers to see attractions including Kashi Vishwanath

Located
259 km southwest of Delhi, Jaipur has the eminence of being the capital city
of Rajasthan. The city was founded in 1727 by King Sawai Jai Singh, after
whom it is named. The romantic nickname the Pink City is not new
to foreign tourists who arrive here to visit such famous attractions as the
Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amber Fort and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Apart
from that, the handicraft-laden city markets invite travellers all the more.
Blue pottery, kundan jewellery, tie-and-dye fabrics, handcrafted footwear,
handmade paper and miniature elephants, horses and camel are a few items you
can never afford to miss.

Situated
in the western part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar happens to

The
one-time capital of the Chandela Dynasty, Khajuraho is located in the state
of Madhya Pradesh. It has been declared as a World Heritage Site. This small
town of the 9th century is visited for its erotic temples redolent with
explicit images and sculptures. Being in a state of oblivion for long, the
temples of Khajuraho were discovered by the British engineer T.S.Burt. The
temples have been classified into three groups the eastern, the
western and the southern; the largest of all is the western group of
temples. Today, Khajuraho has come up with a number of shops, hotels and
restaurants to invite and accommodate its visitors.
